The Fiscal Feminist
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The Fiscal Feminist is a blog that focuses on contemporary finance education for women. The tone of this logo should project confidence, knowledge, and power, while still being appealing to the female audience. The target market is women – all women need to be financially aware of their individual/family financial situation; if not, ignorance can lead to dire consequences. Women include professional women, entrepreneurs, women in transition such as divorcees and widows, and young women gaining independence. This blog is also a “lifestyle” blog, so it does need to have mass appeal and be a modern brand. Take care in selecting the right fonts, avoiding those that are overly “script.” Regarding colors, you have free reign but the softer, non-neon colors are preferred but please NO pink. The logo needs to be sleek, elegant and powerful. Logo must be able to translate well to black and white (knocking out as well). Please include some kind of Mark or Icon to be associated with the words “Fiscal Feminist.” Ideally, this mark can stand on its own at some point but principally the “words” need to be the primary focus. Don’t get cutesy – stay professional.
