Help Explore Oliver BC with a new logo

Explore Oliver BC

"Your local guide to Oliver BC"or this could also be, "Your local guide to Oliver, British Columbia" depending on the spacing.

We are a new local website highlighting our home town of Oliver. THis is a personal website where we write articles on our experiences in the area such as hiking, biking, swimming, picnics, indoor recreation, classes, eating local, supporting local farms, visiting wineries, and supporting local charitable organizations. Our target audience are tourists who are planning to visit our area and locals who are looking for listings of events.

The first line will say "Explore Oliver BC" We want the Explore to be the logo with "Oliver BC" being in a complimentary but plain text. We have drawn a few pictures of what we are looking for. We would like the O in Explore to be either a sun or a balsam root flower (see picture of flower attached). Wine is a huge industry in our region so incorporating a wine bottle, wine glass, or grapes would be great. The tag line of "Your local guide to Oliver BC" will be under the "Explore Oliver BC". The winning designer will provide the logo for our website as well as a square version without the tagline that we can use as our facebook profile. The colours we are using on the website are from the picture of the balsam root flower I have attached (the blue of the sky and the yellow of the flower).
