I loved Josh's designs straight away and he worked with me to tweak things. He understood our brief and my instructions and made things better than I could have hoped for. Excellent service, support and creativity. We are SO happy with the logo, it turned out better than we expected.
CrankyBear (Paul) has been awesome to work with! He is extremely talented and accomodating to all requests which we made of him. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anybody looking for design services.
Thank you Paul for the great work!

Moolahoop is a new crowdfunding site that will launch as a community based structure focused on the identification, development and success of women owned businesses. We are different from existing and new crowdfunding sites in a few keys ways.
1. At launch, we will focus on businesses primarily, not just projects or not-for-profits.
2. At launch, we will target women entrepreneurs.
3. We will do more than raise capital, but we will also provide tools, resources and programs, through our partners, that provide pre- and post-funding support for businesses.
4. The community will have a pay-forward feature that strongly encourages every successful venture to come back ( ergo the hoop) and provide mentorship and support to new ventures.
Moolahoop has similarities to other crowdfunding sites in that it uses the power of social networking and the appeal of a great story to harness excitement for the entrepreneur’s idea. The Moolahoop name and design should really evoke that idea of raising money from your social “circle” in a fun and appealing way. The “circle” also represents our concept of women helping women, successful women entrepreneurs helping other women who are just starting businesses.
The reason we emphasize…”at launch” is because, as Moolahoop expands, we will not be exclusively for women-owned businesses. We may choose to use the same brand and logo to create additional sites that could be industry based or geography based. So the “women entrepreneur” aspect of the logo should be subtle enough that it does not limit us as we expand the business and bring the brand and logo with us. That’s why our name, mixing hula-hoop with moola is a very subtle play on a game (hula-hoop) typically played by girls.
Crowdfunding is a new, leading edge, technology based approach. So the logo should have a young, hip attribute.
But crowdfunding is also quite serious in that it deals with raising capital and launching a successful business. The logo should not be too playful as to be considered silly.
