Harrison is a pleasure to work with and he quickly understood what we were looking for and continued to edit it until we landed on a logo we were happy with.
- Alive Church
This designer was a favorite right out of the gate. One of the few who actually followed the initial briefing. Very responsive and easy to work with. I am happy with the result.
Beklitos did a great job... and was very responsive to feedback!

Who are you known as?
Hill City Church
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a church passionate about living out Matthew 5:14. That verse says, "You are the light of the world, a city on a hill cannot be hidden." Our model equips and empowers people to live in community rather than isolation. We want to give those in our community the tools they need to go out and build the church, not just stick them in a program.
Target Audience: Our message has been effective with people who are looking for a spiritual community that goes beyond a hip Sunday morning worship service. Many "burned out" Christians have found our values refreshing. The Arlington area, where we are located, is a young, growing, city with progressive values. There are a combination of large apartment buildings and townhouses, interspersed with parks and small businesses.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
More horizontal designs have been working better for us.
Avoid cliche and overused religious symbols (crosses, doves, fire, steeples, etc). Not 100% against using them, but we want a meaningful logo which will not quickly become dated. If you use a cross, a Celtic cross could be a big plus.
Would love to see some abstract options with our name "Hill City Church" spelled out. Hand written fonts similar to the one in Missio Dei's current logo could be an attract option. Abstract shapes such as circles and triangles could provide a nice creative touch if done correctly. There does not necessarily need to be a city or a hill in the design.
We are open to a vast array of ideas both abstract and traditional!
