To take the basic design structure of the existing logo and make it a more professional design that encompasses:
A professional look
A brand that can compete with the likes of HomeServe and British Gas
A brand that consumers can feel trust in when looking to buy their home emergency insurance
A brand that portrays that we provide home emergency insurance mainly for homes of 2-10 years old
The MD would like to incorporate a ginger and white cat (along the lines of what British Gas use and Corgi use)
An image that highlights we are the Home Emergency Experts
The logo needs to be timeless and adaptable
Our core customers are people who moved into their new home 2 years ago. We work with the builders (like Redrow, Taylor Wimpey, Barratt, etc) and provide a home emergency insurance product after their initial 2 year cover has expired.
We want to build a relationship with the customer from day 1 (as soon as they move into their home). Therefore, we will be providing them with value to help look after their home (in the form of maintenance advice, etc).
We then want the customer to buy their boiler service from us and then continue to do so for the remainder of the time they live at the property. Once their 2 year cover has expired we will then provide them with the insurance product to cover them for home emergencies. We will then look to upsell them to other opportunities, including smart technology for their home.
