Tabletop Pixel got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Indie Game Studio "Tabletop Pixel" is searching for a logo!

Games & Recreational
Tabletop Pixel is a new Indie Studio which is going to develop 2 kinds of things : 1) Games with a strong boardgame/pen and paper/turn-based/miniature games flavor and also retro games, on multiple platforms (mobiles, tablets and desktops) 2) Fun technological-experimental-software like: augmented reality, computer assisted art creation, virtual "tunnel books"... Our logo idea is: a table and one (or more) moving (or dynamic) pixel(s). Why ? Because we think that: - the table will evoke boardgames and also stability, planning, the starting point of any project... - the pixel will evoke retro games and also dynamism, fast development process, lightweight applications, moving to the future... The logo will be used on our applications splash screens, website and business cards. We tend to like yellow color (around #FFF600), but we know it's difficult to use so don't restrict yourself to it. If you include the pixel in your design, it should be a flat pixel (4 corners) and not a "voxel" (cube). We want a "flat" pixel even if this pixel is 3d distorted. Here a small list of logos we like (after searching for "games" on 99designs): http://bit.ly/16lpH1z, http://bit.ly/13xo0cV, http://bit.ly/16lpFqf, http://bit.ly/1bMVa1k, http://bit.ly/16lpSdf, http://bit.ly/1bMVey9, http://bit.ly/13xobVC, http://bit.ly/16lpT0N, http://bit.ly/15xl0AG, http://bit.ly/15xkQt1, http://bit.ly/13xo2Bz, http://bit.ly/1bMUTLP, http://bit.ly/15xkOBr, http://bit.ly/16lpF9Z, http://bit.ly/1bMUQzR, http://bit.ly/16lpH1x
