Colour Me Purple ("CMP") is a new initiative.
CMP is to become a registered Fair Trade Organization with a special focus on women and women’s collectives / groups.
"Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect that seek greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers" (ref: http://wfto-asia.com/fairtrade/)
The CMP website will do 2 things...
1. Feature a retail & B to B shopping cart
2. Feature a lively community blog where craftspeople from around the world can upload their designs with 'how to make' instructions
