vlam got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo creation for new Mayan taqueria!
Check out vlam's Logo design contest…
We are a Yucatan specific Mexican restaurant. We have a small take-out fast style location that has been open for a while. The new location has a separate name and visual theme. Very classic design; slightly upscale. More of a fast-casual with potential for full-service if we expand in the future. Our target audience is all ages and backgrounds. We will likely have a lot of local families and school kids come in for in-house eating and take-out. We have a small bar and will also cater do a drinking crowd.
We have a wall mural that i will upload pictures of. Its a traditional Mayan scene. We do have some modern elements in the interior design but use the wall image as a link to tradition. The main colors for the interior of the restaurant are off-white/eggshell and a grey/brown/charcoal. Our logo doesn't necessarily have to match these colors, or could be monotone. We are just looking for something for menu/business cards/website/letterhead and possibly for some exterior signage.
