(The) Bank Users Association
Some History...
The Bank Users Association was formed in Ireland in 1980, to help bank customers in their dealings with banks. At the time interest rates were phenomenally high and tax rates were approaching 70%. We've decided to re-launch the association given the current climate.
The Product...
The Association will be launching a subscription/membership website, initially for Irish Banking customers, but potentially other countries.
Target Audience [Ireland]
Mortgage holders/other bank customers that feel that they have no voice when it comes to banking practices. Mortgage holders that are being forced to pay 'Interest Only Mortgages', where at the end of their mortgage term - the bank will still own their home.
An aside...
The word 'BUA' in the Irish language means 'Victory'
