The not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization will collect personal donations and corporate sponsorships for a 2015 Transpac sailboat race campaign from Los Angeles to Hawaii. The goal of the organization is to raise $500,000 for charity; focused on contributions to local charities across the country that benefit the community.
Personal donations will be collected and in exchange donors will have an opportunity to sign the sailboat. The organization hopes to cover the hull of the boat in signatures.
In addition, corporate sponsors will be able to make charitable contributions and be recognized through logo placement on the boat and sailing gear.
