Meg2916 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo wanted for Focus Point
Check out Meg2916's Logo design contest…
Focus Point is a nation wide photography/filmmaking workshop hub. We will be running photo/video workshops online and on location, selling tutorials, teaching software programs to photographers and more across the country!
Logo types to explore
Focus Point is partnering with LensProToGo, an online photo/video rental company. We need our logo to compliment their logo but not copy it at all (logo is included in the example logos we like). Say you were looking at the two logos next to each other on a page, they need to look nice together. Though we are two separate companies, we will be doing a lot of work together and want the customers to feel our connection. If possible we'd like some type of icon created for use with social media. Something that is square/circle in shape that customers would know us for. Whether this is part of the design or separate, we have no preference and could go either way. Lastly, when looking through a camera you will see many rectangular boxes in the viewfinder. These are all focus points. When you press the shutter of the camera halfway down the one that you have selected will turn red telling you where you focus will be set. Although not necessary, a representation of a focus point may be neat! We'd like to stick away from the color red, however. This website will give you an idea of what a focus point is. http://www.larissaphotography.com/blog/2011/01/setting-your-focus-point-on-a-canon-5d-mark-ii/ UPDATE: July 2, 2012*** We would like to use the word "Central" in the logo (Focus Point Central). We would like to see logos with and without the word as we will sometimes use just "Focus Point": or use "Focus Point Central".
