Freshwater Media is located on beautiful Manitoulin Island, ON, Canada, which is the largest freshwater island in the world.
We're looking for a FRESH, CLEAN, SIMPLE, and VERY COOL logo.
1. No Cartoons - we want it to be playful but not cheap or childlike
2. Nothing too elegant - we do not want to come across as being fancy. We want the locals to feel like they can afford our services.
3. The typeface should be clear, simple and bold. We want something that stands out. Again being careful not to be too fancy.
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
Web Design - New and small-to-medium sized businesses in Northern Ontario looking for a quality design agency.
Photography & Video - Business owners and event organizers in all of Ontario looking to acquire high-quality photographs and video (including aerial photograph/video) to use as promotional materials.
Apple Support - All home and business users on Manitoulin Island using Apple products.
COLORS, SIZE & GRADIENTS:
We would like our logo to be suitable for use with multiple applications, including light and dark backgrounds (even if that mean's inverting colours as needed - using coloured, black or white version), be legible/understandable even at small sizes, and use only one or two colors
- 2 colors max, but will entertain submissions with the use of gradients provided the same design would also work with a flat color.
We are not particular about type case. UPPERCASE, lowercase, or a Mix... we're open to all ideas.
FOR PICTORIAL MARKS:
If you are thinking of incorporating a pictorial mark, we like the idea maybe trying a crayfish, but please feel free to use whatever ideas you have (you're the pro;). We are very interested to see all concepts. Use any pictorial mark that you think might work for us (or none at all).
Thank you in advance to all the designers who choose to submit their work. Your kung-fu is strong.
It would be cool to see someone try to incorporate a fresh and cool fishbone/text combo. I don't mean make words from fishbones, but incorporate a winning combination of image and text that just works.
