Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A group of gender creative kids children have design a first draft of the logo (see attached GCK.pdf). The important dimensions to integrate are the following: the hand, that says stop to discrimination and prejudices; the color of Pride flag (symbol for the gay /lesbian / bi / trans community - see rainbow.png). There is also draw the symbol for the male, the symbol for the female and the symbol for trans individuals. For them, the female and male are interchangeable, and the symbol for trans constitute the whole individual.
This will be the logo used to promote a new non profit organization in Canada (this will be the first of its kind in Canada), for children and young people who are gender non conforming / gender independent / gender variant / transgendered.
The organization, as a first step, will provide a bilingual website(French and English) with linked site, information for parents, medical and educational providers, and the community. This is a parents / children and community lead organization. We want something not threatening (some people are scared of transgender kids), dynamic, and fresh.
The logo will be included on a website, on a banner to carry during prides, and on promotional material.

Because the children worked very hard on designing their logo, I would like something that represent their original design / they will be able to recognize it.
