Salary Saver Vehicle Leasing
Salary Saver leasing is a revolutionary plan to make available to our dealership network the mechanisms for them to do their own salary packaging and operating leases. With Salary Saver the dealership finance managers will be able to offer their customers salary packaging and operating lease solutions on the spot with easy to understand comparisons.
Previous to this 99% of dealerships were unable to do salary packaging and would have to refer customers to the large Fleet Management companies (FMO’s) who may or may not purchase the vehicle from the dealer.
Our system enables the dealer to control the vehicle sale and include servicing into their own tailored package, guaranteeing the retaining of their customer.
How easy is the product to use?
Salary Saver is an online product. The dealership business or fleet manager needs only to log on to get started in giving their customer a quote.
The package offers a fully maintained solution:
The vehicle (as supplied by the dealer)
The servicing (as supplied by the dealer)
Auto Insurance (as supplied by National Fleet)
Insurances to protect the customer due to loss of income (as supplied by National Fleet)
Fuel card (as supplied by National Fleet)
Tyres replacement and other options (as supplied by national fleet)
Once the dealer has logged on:
They can choose from the products available to the customer at the customers discretion
The can provide a comparison to normal finance and show the customer the pre-tax savings
They can show the GST and FBT components (if there are any)
They can provide the customer with a written quote
They can sign the customer up immediately providing customers with applications from the Mac lease system
National Fleet provide the training and accreditation
Through our different suppliers we provide the business managers with appropriate accreditation and training if necessary in both finance and insurance.
We provide a BDM (from the NFFWA joint venture) to visit or consult with, in the case of problems, support or staff changes
We provide training for the dealerships fleet team on how to sell and provide salary saver information to their customers
The marketing of the product
Once you become a Salary Saver accredited dealer:
National Fleet put you on to our customer databases as a supplier of Salary saver
o This includes all our customers in your area such as the HIA
o It also includes our on-line marketing
We train your fleet department how to go out and sell Salary Saver to your corporate and fleet customers
You can now compete against the large FMO’s
You are guaranteed to supply the vehicle and servicing to the customers
What happens after you sign the customer?
The process is easy:
You provide original signed copies of everything to NFA and retain copies for yourself
The customer is then managed by NFA (we contact the customer but the customer is always yours)
The vehicle is paid for by NFA prior to delivery in full including GST
You receive a commission from NFA for finance and insurance sales at the end of each month
The customer will get a fuel card and insurance details in the mail
We book the customer in for servicing
We pay your service centre the servicing rates you have entered into the system
