Das Logo wird für eine klinische Studie benötigt, welche eine neue Operationstechnik ... Die Operation betrifft Patienten mit Hirnschlägen (ein Areal des Hirns auf einer Seite...% der Seite) ... ein wenig dunkler schattieren, die Hirnseitenventrikel sollen ersichtlich sein). Bei diesen schwillt das vom Hirnschlag betroffene Hirnareal an, was einen erhöhten Hirndruck verursacht und somit lebensgefährlich wird - unsere Operation beinhaltet das Heraussägen der Hälfte der Schädelkalotte, wonach als neues "Dach" für das Hirn ein dünner (halb so dick wie die "originale" Kalotte) "Space Flap", ... ein künstlicher "Deckel" implantiert ... Dieser Deckel wird an der AUSSENSEITE der "normalen" Schädeldecke - bevor diese herausgesägt wird auf einer Seite, siehe oben - vorher ... Somit "gewinnt" die Operation den Platz einer "Schädeldicke", weil der neue "Deckel" ja die Masse der "Aussenseite" des herausgesägten Stückes ... Das Logo dient vor allem der Identifikation bei der Zusammenarbeit mehrerer Spitäler & Ärzte und ist nicht primär an die Patienten ... Siehe Anhänge

Shades of blue and gray enhance that feel providing depth while being flat. Icon is paired with customised lettering in modern sans style where resonance is continued through wavy horizontal lines. Design works as great in full color as it does in monochrome so its versatile yet recognizable.

BlueOak pharmaceuticals logo

Had some fun working on this interesting project for BlueOak Pharmaceuticals. Idea here was to create symbol of oak tree where branches provide subtle reference to human brain. Also tree trunk was designed slightly offset to evoke sort of windblown dynamic feel. Reason for designing it this way is because company is working on discovering and developing novel medicines for diseases of the brain. Pretty satisfied with end results.
