Worked tirelessly to provide multiple versions and updates for a high-quality logo & icon. Very happy with the final version
How tko2104 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
The Nexus Center
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a community center in San Francisco that offers classes in meditation, movement arts (yoga, dance, flow), and developing interpersonal connections. We hold workshops centered around personal self-exploration, and sponsor events such as art fundraisers, open mic jams, and dance parties. Our goal is to foster authentic connection between people, and with themselves.
Our customers are a mix of people who work in technology (to try to get them to relax, unwind, and release their creative energy), and artists and performers. Here is a moodboard for the space: http://www.gomoodboard.com/boards/tPMAx-9a/share
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
the design incorporated into the shape of the text
simple, sharp, will translate to a lot of different media
how the placement of the graphics conveys the meaning of the brand
graphics mirror the name but in a more interesting and abstract way
bold variations in the text
slightly abstract, but still conveys the brand name. very interesting style
color gradient, geometric style
bold, stands out
i like the stylized take on the giraffe
I'd like some options where the graphics of the logo to be able to stand alone as a beautiful design, without the text as well. However you have a creative way to incorporate the full name into the graphics where the two cannot be separated, I'd love to see it. I tend to like round designs, mandalas could be good inspiration to start.
The business will colloquially be called "Nexus", so when the business name is included in the logo, this should be the focus of the text design.
a connection or series of connections linking two or more things.
a connected group or series.
the central and most important point or place.
The logo will likely be printed in wood-cut using a CNC machine (both for a large logo in our studio, and as well as on keychains/stickers). I'd like the logo design to have sharp crisp outlines, instead of images with lots of gradients and color variations. It should look good translated into this medium: https://shopmonarchandcompany.com/p…d-stickers
