Trishaw Rides got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Non-profit community project offering free trishaw rides to the elderly

Feel the Fresh Air!
Community & Non-Profit
A community initiative that will allow elderly residents, those with restricted mobility, or with life-limiting illness to enjoy the pleasures of cycle rides on trishaw bicycles. A trishaw is a specially adapted rickshaw with a passenger cab at the front and will be piloted by volunteers. It will offer local residents the chance to experience the surrounding countryside and natural environment along the cycle paths, providing the opportunity to regain social connections – meeting people along the way and stopping for a chat with other cyclists, dog walkers and everyone who uses our local cycle paths.
The trishaw vector illustration should be of the same style as the trishaw pictured in the supporting document (Creative Brief.pdf) i.e. the "triobike taxi" with the pilot / guide cyclist at the rear, with the passenger cabin at the front. Please note this is different from a rickshaw. The trishaw illustration should also feature people sitting in the trishaw as outlined in the brief, with at least one of the passengers waving, rather than it being empty. Please see the original logo in Creative Brief.pdf

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo design.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Trishaw Rides collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Initially I was concerned with the entries I had received for my design contest, they were not reflecting the creative brief I had written up. That was until ST-95 joined the contest and provided designs.
Clearly this designer had taken the time to actually read the brief, understood exactly what I was looking for, and absolutely nailed the design at the first attempt.
The designer was also very accommodating when I asked for a minor variation just for comparison.
The design was for a non-profit community project, so there wasn't a big budget to work with, and I personally funded the contest, so getting it right was essential.
The designer's communication was also excellent and very responsive. I received the final files very quickly including confirmation of the typeface used.
I would highly recommend ST-95 and hope to work with this designer again in the future.
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
