First, review Logood.id's portfolio. It is brilliant! Their illustrations are vibrant and clever. Their first pass at a concept for our company logo was spot-on and very creative. I'm confident you will be delighted.
Farouk™ was excellent to work with! Responsive, and great quality work!
How Food for Thought started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Halton Food for Thought
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Halton Food for Thought feeds over 16,000 students a week by
partnering with schools to offer breakfast, snack and lunch programs.
In Canada we do not have a national school food program and without
agencies like us, hungry students would have to go without food. Our
programs are open to all students regardless of need and provide a
reliable source of healthy food for all. Not every child has access to
the healthy food they need to stay focused in school. What we do is
important to many students. We need to be bold and stand out above the
crowd to have our message heard.
Our emphasis is on healthy foods such as fruit and vegetables. We know
that good food will help children to focus on their school work and
build a foundation for good eating habits in the future. We preach
about the connection between food and learning and that hungry
children cannot reach their full potential.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Our old logo was boring and the font was not current or fun.
Previously we had an apple in our design- this was nice, but many
other agencies in our area have apples too. An apple tree or image
that represents the tree of knowledge would work too.
The idea of having a two part design works for us for we could have a
graphic image to use on tees and print materials that works separately
from the actual text is a great idea.
Our main areas of focus:
-the connection between healthy food and academic success
-making sure all students have access to healthy food
-creating universal programs that everyone can attend
Have fun. Be playful. We feed kids. Its pretty amazing!
Love all the tree designs, but maybe we can go a different way too!
