Jdownton got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Games & Recreational
PokerData is a data analysis and review tool for poker. It consists of a desktop app which sits silently in your task tray recording your games, and a website used to access reports and review historical games. PokerData's goal is to help make someone a better player as well as connect them with other poker players.
Logo types to explore
Poker logos are frequently used in the industry and we would like to find something that is innovative and hopefully different/unique. The logo must be recognizable on its own, as a mini version will sit in the system task tray when the desktop client is running. More focus should be spent on the logo rather than the font of "PokerData". Please visit www.pokerdata.com to get a feel for the product.
