Kenton1 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
RocketBlocks (RocketBlocks.me) needs a great logo!

Logo types to explore
Vision: We envision a logo that includes a rocket blasting off or out of some clouds. We're open to variations and tweaks on this but generally we'd like to include that action in our logo design. Name history: RocketBlocks.me originates from the idea that 1) we want to provide students with the fundamental building blocks 2) to launch their career and 3) the .me comes from the fact that this tool is all about helping the user Things we'd like to avoid: a sun - we do *not* want a sun in the logo a moon - we do *not* want a sun. we're not very pro-solar system :) Some similar rockets and design concepts we like: the symmetry of this rocket: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/102485 the geometric shapes of the flames on this one: http://logozilla.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/rocket_logo_design_16.jpg?w=500&h=320 the geometric feel of this non-rocket: http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/139560 the cloud from 1000memories.com Our target demographics: 20+ male/females with college education or higher Colors used on our web platform (see screenshot attached): darker blue: #0066CC lighter blue: #3078FF light grey: #cccccc white We don't have orange yet but would love the logo to include orange (we're open to any shade that looks good with the other colors)
