This designer was very responsive to my questions and suggestions during the design phase and also after the contest was over when I had additional questions. They had a good understanding of what I was looking for and offered several variations that I could consider. Also, I never felt pressured by this person during the contest phase. I appreciated that very much.

How Rustin Carlson started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Rock The Nations -- Nickname is RTN. The is the non-profit logo for launching this organization.
What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Thanks for all the ideas so far. I want to go a different direction. Lets just work with the letters and the name, and NOT add graphics of a father and son. That’s not working well.
New Direction: All text and fonts. You can do both the three letters (RTN) and the entire name (Rock The Nations).
Some of you could try combining the idea of “Rock the Nations” with “Rockstar Dads”. Create an 'RUBBER STAMP' of the Rockstar Dads. But DON’T take it toward music or rock and roll. That WILL NOT fit.
PLEASE GO BACK TO THE VISUAL EXAMPLES IN THE BRIEF. I'VE UPDATE WHAT I LIKE HERE. PLEASE AIM FOR SIMILAR.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Community & Non-Profit
Other color requirements
I don't have specific colors. I do want a color logo but also something that can be black/white too.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
LOVE THIS ONE! The bird disintegrating is pretty unique and I like the font they used.
I love just about everything I see in this logo. The font is totally unique and the graphic above it is really unique too.
LOVE THIS! This is cool because of the youthful and aggressiveness of the airplane. Seems fun, interesting, not stodgy and heavy.
I like this. Can you show me something like this?
I love the circle, and I'm not sure what the two symbols are inside. Arrow or the letter "LL". This logo is gritty, highly unique, simple. And I like the two arrows pointing a direction which says, "Let's get moving".
I want to make sure this logo works well for embroidery, screen printing, letterhead, etc. RTN is a MOVEMENT of men attacking the crisis of fatherlessness, and offering answers to help students and young adults.
