was founded to be the "go to" brand for people serious about their pets health, safety and most important...happiness. Many of us are pet owners ourselves and got involved with Arf! when we realized how impossible it was to find pet-related accessories and supplies that were exactly what we were looking for--most of our purchases were the result of compromise, so rather than continue, we decided to "use our powers for good" and design, develop and source the kind of products that pet owners (like us)--and their pets would be proud of.
Those results are what Arf is all about.
Don't let our name fool you, we're about great stuff for all pets all the time...cats, birds, fish, reptiles...and of course, dogs. From high-tech to low tech to no tech, we want our brand to resonate with pet lovers...not pet owners.
What does that mean logo design wise? Hey if we knew that, we wouldn't be here...(we hope!). We DO know what we want/need our logo to convey brand wise--a sense of better, smarter that connects with people who care about their pets and hence will be pleasantly amazed at our combination of innovation and value. We obviously need visual thinking that balances out the name, so please make sure whatever you come up with "doesn't go to the dogs" (only).
Speaking of please make sure, also please make sure it CAN go on packaging, collateral, corporate identity, web sites, mobile, etc. And while we're obviously looking at 4/c, please make sure it can translate in other situations (eg 1/C circulars, etc)
