Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The TurboHDR website will have a dark background so the logo should be designed with this in mind. See e.g. the DPReview logo at http://www.dpreview.com/.
Note carefully the typography of the name: TurboHDR. HDR is an acronym so *must* be in *all caps*. Turbo is not an acronym so must be *lowercase or small caps* to separate it from the following letters H-D-R. Ideally Turbo and HDR should be separated by color as well.
Two key concepts I want the logo to reflect are:
1. Speed & power
2. The idea of a bracketed sequence of photos at different brightnesses. See the different shades of the letters H-D-R in the attached logo concept files for examples.
Some other suggestions:
- Consider making the "o" in Turbo the shape of a camera shutter/aperture or turbocharger.
- Play around with different complementary font and color combinations. See the attached file turbohdr_logo_concept_variations.png for my basic examples. (URL to my original Google document is http://goo.gl/oKBI9.)
