Our organization introduces kids of all ages to the joy of biking. We are a non profit group that helps educates, advocates, provides safe cycling opportunities for kids. We have 3 programs 1. Re-zyzcle where we refurbish used bicycles and distribute to kids in need 2. Life-Zycle where volunteers donate and build new bikes that are given to kids 3. Grey Matters where kids are taught helmet safety and given free helmets.
Our general audience is kids between the ages 5 to 18. We also work with bicycling enthusiasts, schools and local community groups and law enforcement,
Our goal is to promote cycling as a lifelong activity that is part of a healthy lifestyle.
Our mission is to develop a sense of responsibility with the pride of ownership in early life, promote, advocate and educate the safe use of bikes - instill a love for biking for kids of all ages.
We strive to provide a path forward for kids from disadvantaged and low income families through the gift of a new bike. Through this small gift we intend to catalyze positive lifestyle changes, improved education and healthier choices.
We are passionate about mobilizing and connecting people through the power of biking. We envision a world where biking as a keystone habit results in better education, improved health, enhanced economic opportunity and increased happiness.
