Create a medieval mobile app game
Check out sq 9's App design contest…
Games & Recreational
Design a medieval mobile app game. It will be set in the medieval middle ages with the main screen as a village. The village will consist of multiple buildings where each building will consist of a mini game. The player will play each mini game to collect materials. The materials will be used in the 'Virtual Store' to combine into a finish product. Each finish product will earn Game Points and Experience. The plot of the game is to earn as much Game Points and Experience as possible. Target Market: 18 - 35 year olds
Game theme: Medieval - Middle Ages. Fantasy. Game type: Platform Village game. Game design: Non realism style. Gender: Graphics must be suitable for both male and female. Mobile OS: Android Device: Mobile Phones and maybe tablets. Layout Orientation: Landscape Fonts: Currently I am using the font "Bed and Breakfast" http://www.dafont.com/bed-and-breakfast.font. I am open to other font ideas. Style/Theme Idea: Nice, Clean, Modern. Navigation Style: Simple, sleak, easy to navigate. Don't over complicate. - Popup screen will be used to display information or small selection. Inspiration ideas from mobile games: Hay Day, Clash of Clans, Smurf Reason: I like the layout design of the buttons and icons. Simple and minimalistic.
1. The app will be played on Android mobile devices. Its orientation is fixed to be landscaped. See attachment views.pdf for the screen work flows. The first view the user will experience will be a splash/loading screen. We like something similar to the game Smurfs, Clash of Clans, Total Conquest. Once the loading is completed (same background as the splash screen) the user will have a choice. If it is a new player it will ask the user to enter: - his name - his mobile number If it is a returning player, it will ask the player to click to continue. This will bring the player to the main Village screen. The village screens will have a few buildings. See attachment of the buildings design we like. Each building will navigate the player to another screen which consist of either a mini game (factory, other #1, other #2), virtual store, community center and market. Note: More info in the attached docs.
What to avoid
Avoid portrait layout orientation. Avoid mascular theme.
