Did an amazing job, "got it" right from the very beginning and materially added to the idea.

This is a little side project I thought of to design a plush toy to comfort pets.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a plush toy designed of a sleeping dog sort of curled up with a space for a puppy to rest against it's stomach.
I would prefer it to be based on a golden retriever as there might be more work making different "breed" versions of it. Although if there was an exceptional "generic dog" design that wasn't recognizable as a breed I might choose that just to be simple.
It would be around 24"/60cm long not including the tail (ie nose to bum). I don't need a fancy finished illustration that takes a bajillion years, No one is going to see these illustrations!
I need more of a good sketch of what it would look like from the top and from the side (or both sides like top, side & front). It's to make a pattern out of so I guess more architectural than an amazing angle and field of view illustration etc.
I would think it would want to be more stylized as a toy rather than look like a realistic dog.
I've attached some plush toy images from google image search. I guess the one in the middle probably has a good pose in that something could rest between it's legs. Not necessarily suggesting to go off the "look" of that one though!
It needs to communicate love, cuteness and safety.
Still not sure how "cartoony" it should be vs realistic. I mean, I guess it has to have it's own identity, but maybe not so abstract that you could change it from a Golden Retriever to a German Shepherd or a Staffordshire Bull Terrier without noticing the difference.
