Every time I work with other creative people--which is to say, all the time--I get the best result when I say "do what you do best". But, that being said, I am a stickler for branding and consistency, so do get a feel for my aesthetic by looking at my website, previous EP covers, and photos on my Facebook artist page and Twitter.
The Kick Drum High Hat EP draws on a lot of 8-bit and early 2000s era EDM, with a whole bunch of other things mixed in. It is not a huge departure from the aesthetic of my last two releases, except it is a bit darker, a little more "serious". At the end of the day, though, the music is still fundamentally pop.
I have already filmed a music video for the title track from which I am including screenshots in this brief. I do not necessarily want to include any or all parts of the screenshots from the shoot, but they are yours to work with if you are inspired by them (if not--no obligation.)
I generally DO NOT like text on the cover of my EPs--in the Internet age, the artist/title is already splashed everywhere on the screen, it seems. No need for redundancy--just a compelling image does the job.
