We are looking for core art to be adapted and used for multiple purposes for each of the events. Each Summit requires several design pieces (program covers, posters, social media ads, cover images for the FaceBook events, etc) that all have to look good together. Please submit your best visual idea for the event series that can be modified for future use. It could be a mock up program cover, a poster, an illustration, web page cover art, or whatever else you come up with. Have questions about what we want? Please ask! We're happy to share any information that might be useful.
In 2018, Food Tank Summit will be hosted across the country in cities including Washington, DC, Seattle and Boston. Each event will feature a unique theme, but they all need a consistent look.
We’re looking for art that can be used universally at all Summits (or art that is city specific but shares a theme) without feeling stale or repetitive. It should coordinate with Food Tank’s existing branding (see the attachments) but should not feel identical to past Summit images – we want something new and something that reflects the fact that the Summits are doubling every year and growing in scale and professionalism.
Keywords describing what we want to see: Modern, clean, professional, distinctive, optimistic, engaging, fun
What to avoid:
1. We’re committed to building a sustainable and just food system. Please do not use stock photos or imagery depicting unsustainable agricultural practices or miserable conditions.
2. Avoid cliched farm-to-table designs, please. It’s fine (great, actually!) to include vegetables, farms, etc. in the imagery, but it shouldn’t look like the website or menu cover for a new restaurant.
3. We don’t want it to look like any other food conference and will reward originality.
