What's your vision?
Refresh of an existing Hobbyist Software logo. I like the existing logo, but the graphics behind it are somewhat clunky. I'm looking for a high resolution re-build of the approximately the same logo (it should be clearly the same concept). You do have some flexibility on the exact implementation. These elements should definitely remain : 1) A holder/magnifying device like these: http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/400273900516?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar If you can find good stock art, then I would consider using that, otherwise you probably need to draw one. 2) Some indications of the hobbyist / under construction nature (currently indicated with the sketch lines around the title) 3) The text Hobbyist Software the end product will be a high resolution photoshop or illustrator file with a logo that I could use on different backgrounds. --- Update for clarity the existing version comes from artwork that was built originally at a lower resolution, then enlarged using a different 'helper' with a badly added magnifying effect. You can see the rough edges in the attached work. I then had to apply some kind of blotch filter to cover up other problems with the art. I'm not a photoshop expert - and it shows. If the existing logo was based on a high res illustrator file - then I would be sticking with that. One good outcome for me would be to just get a faithful re-build with good high-res art and a realistic helper. However given that I'm running the competition, I'm also open to subtle improvements!
