What's your vision?
We are working on a project where we are interested in building a graphic. The graphic will be used as a poster. It will also be used in Powerpoint as a visual of its own.. Plus we will use it as a sort of “tracker” in the Powerpoint presentation. (See Sample 1) Here’s how I would describe the image we are looking for: • It has 4 to 8 components…depending on how it is built. • Components 1, 2 & 3 are the base or fundamentals to ultimately “Expanding Economic Activity”…which is Component #4. We have to do them (#1, 2, & 3) to effectively expand economic activity in agriculture in the state of Iowa. • Component 1 is: Protect Comparative Advantages • Component 2 is: Improve Business Climate • Component 3 is: Encourage Innovation • Component 4 is: Expand Economic Activity. There are 4 sub-components of this area….and we want to show them in the visual. o Sub-component 1: Build the Base o Sub-component 2: Add Value o Sub-component 3: Nurture the New o Sub-component 4: Expand Exports • Each component & sub-component should be a different color. The first attachment is the original image we came up with (Sample 1) We are not satisfied with it……for a variety of reasons: 1) It does not include “Expand Exports" 2) The color pallet is not to our liking. The 2nd attachment (Sample Colors) shows the color pallet one of our team members suggested. 3) It just doesn’t articulate the message we are trying to get a crossed. 2nd attachment (Sample Colors) is the sample color pallet we would potentially like to use. ***** The following attachments are other potential (hand drawings) samples of what we might be interested in. Not sure if they still articulate what we are looking for….but I think they are moving in the right direction. If we go with some sort of arrow…..we are probably interested in it leaning to the right and would be placed on the upper left hand side of the screen. That is yet to be determined….but something I thought I should share with you. Please look at the first attachment to see what I’m meaning by using this as a tracker in the PowerPoint….whereas we would keep some portions of the image in color and other components in gray when we are talking to a particular aspect of the image.
Please note, I am very happy to create the image as a tracker & gray out certain areas while keeping that one area highlighted.....as long as the image is created in a way that allows me to make those changes within Powerpoint. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have about what we are looking for.
