Custom built bicycle frames using traditional techniques (lugged joints) in steel. Potential for design and manufacture of other bicycle components as well.

Bicycle branding Consists of up to three elements, a brand text, an icon and a head tube badge. The bike frames will be single colour (varying) with the brand text 'Kahl' in a single colour on the downtube (main tube sloping down from the handlebars to the pedals). The icon/logo will be used in other branding and perhaps stamped on the bottom of the frame, but could also be incorporated into the name text. The head tube badge will relate to or incorporate the elements of the name text and icon, but could have other elements and be more complex. main text - two colour (colours will vary so selection is not required ie. black on white is fine, bit feel free to use colour combos you think might work) - primary position on down tube, so actual height will be 25-30mm - will be masked and painted over the base frame colour (not a decal), so single colour only - can be in any case icon/logo - colour requirement as per main text - could be used in conjunction with main text - should be suitable for miniature stamping like: http://www.infinitystamps.com/jewelry_hand_stamps.html headbadge - will be cast in bronze or aluminium - can have embossed/debossed areas to one or more levels (that could be blackened or polished for greater contrast) - could incorporate 2 or more rivets (a circle/dome 3-5mm in diameter) for fixing, but not compulsory - google "head tube badge" images for examples - dimensions max: 30mm wide x 100mm high

Ultimately I'd want it all to be pretty clean and not too complex, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be interested in designs that are more traditional in terms of bicycles branding ie. vintage, floral, scrolling et al. Attached is an idea for the text (and colour style) that I kind of like (note this particular font is not free so not suitable in this case)
