Online contests. Users try to solve online puzzles. If they solve the puzzles, they get entered into a grand prize drawing. The website is: www.challengehut.com
What's your vision?
A flyer that will be set out at local coffee shops. It will be a small card (flyer) that will be put out as a stack. The goal is that someone will be getting their coffee, see the flyer, be attracted to the flyer so the customer picks it up. They bring it home and then visit my website (and play the online game). This flyer does NOT have to use the colors of the website. Instead this flyer just needs to be exciting enough that the person will be DRAWN to the flyer (grab their attention!), PICK IT UP, then visit my website. You are absolutely free to be creative! The behavior that I want is that a person will be in a coffee house, glance at the flyers/business cards on a ledge, see my flyer and they are DRAWN to the flyer ... it stands out from the other flyers/business cards. So the person picks it up and puts it in their pocket ... they will later use the flyer to visit my website because the person is curious to learn more about it.
FLYER DESCRIPTION: This flyer has to "pop" and attract the person to pick it up and take an interest in the flyer. The person will be at a coffee house getting their coffee. This flyer needs to ATTRACT them, DRAW THEM TO IT. It has to be exciting, interesting, spark curiosity, probably bright colors (or at least attracting colors) -- because it has to be exciting, it has to spark their interest. Because I want them to pick up the flyer and then visit my website (and then play the online game). The person has NOT heard of my website before they see this flyer. This flyer has to really convince the person to PICK IT UP, create curiosity to say "What is this?" -- "My curiosity is engaged...I want to go to the website and learn more!" I will include the logo, but it is NOT important for this flyer. The most important function of this flyer is that the person will be ATTRACTED/CURIOUS by the flyer, PICK IT UP, put it in their pocket/purse and then visit the website. The flyer's function is to convince the person to visit the website (www.challengehut.com). WHATEVER IT TAKES (the design) to make person interested in picking it up and learning more. Why would they want to go to the website? To solve online puzzles, play games, solve mysteries --- all with the goal of winning a grand prize (a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant or store). It's free to play and they might win a great prize by solving the online puzzle. So the concepts behind the website are: excitement, fun, games, brain teasers, puzzles, prizes, winning, challenge, contest, possibility of winning a prize! DEMOGRAPHIC: Adult men and women, probably: 21-35 years old. It is NOT for kids. LAYOUT: It's flexible: ALL the info can be on the front. OR...it's a simple design on front and all the info (text) is on the back of the flyer. Or, a little both.
