Check out schalk's Print or packaging design contest…
A directional boring and trenchless sub contractor servicing the residential, commercial and public works industries. We install any service, utility or conduit.
What's your vision?
Postcard: (See attached) Size: 8.5 x 5.5 (1/2 A4 size), double sided, full color. Design Element: The front has to scream – stop digging and be very in your face but clean and slick. You have carte blanche to do what you want from a lay out perspective obviously using corporate colors…. Front: Copy: NO MORE DIGGING! Go trenchless with Drill Sub (LOGO) Design two graphics: - 1) a guy with a shuffle (in a circle with a line thru it – like a no smoking sign) 2) a bucket of a excavator, with a line thru it. IF you look on the website - www.drillsub.com, on the services page you will see icons which I like. These two graphics you design should tie in with this (if you can). For the trade show we will add the graphics to real warning road signs as part of the booth décor. This will also form the basis of what we'll wrap the trucks in. Bare in mind that you need space for an address label, stamp and return address is: Drill Sub, Inc. 1468 Rainbow Crest Rd Fallbrook, CA 92028 Back: There is lots of copy to accommodate including a graphic. You’ll have to do something similar to what in on there already, from a graphic point of view. You could simplify it but it has to clearly show houses above ground and then a cross section cut showing the pipe. If you look at the graphic it is color coded and corresponds with the services listed (water, sewer, electrical & gas) There is a red box on the graphic that can just be deleted. Here is the copy in order of importance: 1)Slogan: Trenchless Installed, faster & affordable (a directional boring and trenchless sub contractor servicing the residential, commercial and public works industries 2)Catch Phrase: underground construction specialist for any trenchless application 3)Plumbers – we install, you connect 4)Any service/utility/conduit 5)Water/sewer/electrical/gas (color coded with the graphic) 1” & up – any length/grade/condition or soils Pneumatic earth piercing (moles any size) Pipe bursting (enlarging pipe diameters) 6)Contact detail box/strip/band/area: For additional information or estimates contact: Carlos Gutierrez Director of Operations Cell: 760.695.2574 Estimating: 888.782.9110 email@example.com fax: 866.238.1867 main: 888 SUB.9110 OR 888.782.9110 www.drillsub.com LIC. # 937432
The file, "Drill Sub Initial" is what we did in house to show the designer what info needs to go onto the postcard. The second file "Drill Sub Concept" is what a designer came up with. It's flat, un-interesting and the graphic drawing does not represent what we do. It does however has all the needed copy and allocations for address labels and stamps on it. The file "well Presented Graphic' is a good example of what we do and how it should be shown. This postcard will mainly go to plumbers. Informing them that we can make their lives much easier since we install the lines for them without making a mess, no conventional digging or excavating. We can go underneath concrete, tile, a house, anywhere. And then, they just come and conect the fittings, no mess no fuss! The concept of whatever will be on the front of the postcard will also form the basis of what we want to use to wrap the trucks and vans in. Most of our business is in Southern California. please feel free to call me on 949.295.4854 if you have any questions! Thanks much! Lize
