Cosmetics & Beauty
Woodspirits is a family owned company who produce all natural body care products. Our products are as follows: Soaps - These are our original and flagship products. We began making soap in 1988 and have been around ever since. Nowadays there are many competitors in the once empty market which is the primary reason for us to redesign our lines. We produce hand made, cold processed soaps using food grade olive and coconut oils as well as unique pigments, ingredients, and essential oils. Each of our products has specific uses depending on the need, ranging from extremely sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, or dry skin. We currently have 22 unique blends of soaps, however for this project, we're looking to improve the packaging and labeling for our top 10 blends (Air Castles, Frankincense & Myrrh, Lavender, Mountain Sage, Pacific Mist, Phome, Portuguese Breakfast, Seaweed, Sun & Sky, Zanzibar). Please check out our current website (soon to be redesigned as well) at www.woodspirits.com Salt Scrubs: We are the pioneers of the salt scrub in a jar. For use in the shower and bath to remove dried out dead skin and help moisturize. We offer 3 different sizes of salt scrubs described below: Body Scrub - Our largest salt scrub is a 21 fluid oz jar which the base ingredients are 50% safflower oil, and 50% food grade salt. They are offered in the same blends mentioned above with unique pigments, exfoliating ingredients and essential oil scents. They include a shell to help scoop out the contents. Exfoliating Scrub - A slightly smaller jar (12 fluid oz) and is primarily used in exfoliating with only a small amount of moisturizing oil added. For those not needing as much as the body scrub, it's a perfect size for taking care of dry skin a few times a month. These are perfect for when you have some tough grit or grime that is difficult to come off with just soap and scrubbing. Face Scrubs - These are our smallest jars (6 fluid oz) and are designed for use on specifically on the face. These again, are featured in the same 10 blends mentioned above Colognes - We also sell our colognes in the same 10 blends and come in an etched glass bottle with a spray cap. Our organization is a very green company with virtually no waste. Our packaging is eco-freindly and minimalist steering away from plastics and Styrofoam.
What's your vision?
Firstly, we'd like our Logo Revamped. It's a bit old and outdated. attached is our current logo (Logo (Oil Painting).jpg). Our labels for the soap were created in 1988 when the company was founded. We believe they are in need of a refreshed look, keeping some of the uniqueness of each individual blend. Additionally, for each blend, we'd like to have consistency across the products offered (Soap, Salt Scrub, Cologne's). Currently the labeling for each product line of one blend look very different (for example, our lavender bar soap label looks very different than our lavender salt scrub label). We would also be open to an alternative method of packaging if the design is eco friendly and would set us apart. We like the paper wrapper being cost effective and eco friendly, it just might not draw enough attention. So we believe a newly designed "brand" for each of our blends which would set us apart from the current crowded marketplace of handmade soaps and salts scrubs.
Our website features the current labeling for all of our products which can be found at www.woodspirits.com.
