Back label text/story:
El Gato Tuerto lost his eye in a Valencia bullfight, after showing more courage than reason. This valiant intellectual felt betrayed to have incarnated as a meager domestic feline. He roamed the streets of Mediterranean municipalities looking for interesting conversation and libations offered by resident bohemians.
This Santa Ynez, California Tempranillo is a tribute to El Gato. Hand crafted by wine prodigy and music industry veteran Michael Sandoval, from grapes grown at his tenderly groomed vineyard. Mike and two amigos -- Arthur Rockwell and César M Melgoza -- collaborated to bring new life to El Gato and we welcome you to share his legacy by toasting with good friends and family. ¡A tu salud!
