What's your vision?
An attractive package for a novel set of gaming dice that will be a Kickstarter offering . The current packaging is simple and useful for immediate needs but there is hope that the product will make it onto store shelves and into people's homes. Response from board game players to the new dice (called X-Dice) has been overwhelmingly positive and It could get a lot attention. I do not want to constrain the creativity of the designer but I believe it is important to see how the dice react will make a difference in approach. It is my contention that these novel dice will make every board game that the user owns (those which require dice to play) a completely new experience. The fact that there is more than one possible outcome on the roll of the die makes this possible. X-dice are D-4 type gaming die with the standard probability of a the numbers 1-4 having equal probability, however, there is an second stable position (inverted) that through some empirical rolling experiments appears to happen roughly 1 in every 25 rolls. (experimentally 38 times in 1000 rolls) The impact of this event can be ignored or it can be given a predetermined implication by the players. For example if playing Monopoly, the players could decide that one can choose to go to one a location on the board, or other players could agree on where the player must go (e.g. to jail or other disadvantageous location such as an opponent’s site heavily built up with houses or a hotel). Every different game offers a new opportunity to rethink the impact with the game being played
