New t-shirt design for Danish National Climbing Federation

• This project is run by the Danish National Climbing Federation, and the purpose of making this T-shirt is to convey a sense of identity and prestige around the role of being a volunteer rock climbing instructor/trainer/coach in a climbing gym. By supplying the T-shirts to volunteer climbing trainers (who are generally not being paid for their work), we hope that they wear them in their local climbing gyms and feel proud to be a climbing trainer. We want the design to fulfill the following criteria: o Should be very noticeable – preferably in bright and very “look at me” color such as red or blue. o Climbing T-shirts or designs often use a silhouette picture of a climber on an overhanging rock such as here, here or here (See links in attached doc.). Another often used design for climbers is a hand or a hand print such as here. A very simple “icon” or silhouette picture of a piece of climbing equipment such as a carabiner or a quickdraw (See links in attached doc.) could also be combined with some clever text or or sentence such as here (See links in attached doc.). • We are really looking for something special in this T-shirt design – it should be “cool” and have something creative that make people want to wear it. So far we are thinking of the text "Coach" on the back, and then a picture, or a "funny" text or something a bit different on the front... Not too many concrete ideas though. Please keep the design relatively simple and remember that the target audience is fairly broad - 18 to 40 years old, men and women, all backgrounds, except that they climb and volunteer as a climbing coach. So the style should not be too "wild" or outlandish - rather sober and something which could be worn by a 35 year old computer engineer or a 20 year old university student. See links in attached doc. Common for both designs, is that we want to keep it as minimalist as possible - no please - keep it simple, and no extra bells and whistles! An extra little thing is that the climber should be fairly simple - he can have a chalk bag hanging behind his back, but please do not use a climber with a whole lot of equipment hanging from his harness, extra ropes, slings, etc. <p style="margin-top: 7px; margin-bottom: 7px; font-style: normal; line-height: 21px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; ">With the one with horizontal lines and a climber, who is climbing up the lines, the idea is to do something like this:http://www.teemagnet.com/wp-content…galism.jpg but with a climber instead of a King Kong. I want to keep the climber fairly small, and feel free to experiment with different ways to do the distortion of the individual lines where he has been climbing. The design should have the word Coach on the back and the logo. Feel free to experiment with anything else here, and I am open to new ideas, but this is the basic design <p style="margin-top: 7px; margin-bottom: 7px; font-style: normal; line-height: 21px; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; ">For the second design, the key here is a very simple, plain design, with a small (and here I really mean small) climber on the T-shirt and the a rope going below him, preferably being led through a few quickdraws (this is a quickdraw here: http://www.campfans.net/wp-images/B…kdraw.jpg). On this second design, the rope should not be going above the climber at all, the climber should not be in the center of the T-shirt, and I do NOT want to see the rock he is climbing on - at the most I should see a few lines for foot or hand holds. Also, I would like to see an idea or two with the rope snaking around the body to the back of the shirt, and then a belayer standing at the bottom belaying the climber above.
