Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Card Guru is an online credit card marketplace that guides users through the search for a credit card. We help users find the best card by easily comparing cards that fit their needs. We offer personalized recommendations based on the features that are the most important to users – whether it’s getting the best rewards, lowest APR, or the highest cashback. Although we receive compensation in some cases, our recommendations are focused on helping users find the best card.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Accounting & Financial
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We're looking for a clean site with good use of white space and excellent typography. Use no more than 2 google fonts (one for headers, one for body - best if you can use of font family for both).
Lean towards how creditcards.com uses color. Not so much as their blue, but how they use their primary color sparingly and with purpose.
For stock photos, use http://www.istockphoto.com. You can download the watermarked version to use in your design (we'll purchase the photo). Use lifestyle related photos: mid 30s looking people using technology, people using credit cards, etc. See what the sample sites are doing.
We're providing wireframes for the layouts of the pages - both mobile and desktop views.
Wireframes are included (3 pages + global navigation)
We are in the middle of running our contest for the logo. We should have the final logo soon and can provide it to the group when it's ready. For now, use typography to spell out CardGuru as a placeholder.
