A winner was selected from 92 designs submitted by 12 freelance designers.
CityEvents.com
Bringing you local events around your city as well as showing you places around you and being able to create your own events. Virtually an event search engine aggregating results based on your keywords.
I want the style/theme to reflect something modern and clean but most importantly the UI has to be very user friendly as we value placement and must fit IPad resolutions for both landscape/portrait.
1. Main Page Search Engine Page -
+Login/Signup/Create Event
+Show current date/time/weather
+Leave room for a video instructional link
+If logged in board page link
+Four sections with events, social, places, movies each with a keyword search with filters such as start date, end date, city, state, country, distance slider for each section for places no start date/end date
+List trending events
+List possible keywords
+Social icons
+Footer
2. Search Engine Results Page -
+Same search bar and filters from main page, search results defined below
+Event results have title, logo from which company feed from, possible event flyer (this is optional to put in), street address, city, state, date/time and price (with possible lowest & highest price)
+Place results have all above except date/time or flyer but will have a "create event" button next to them
+Leave room to place ads image(flyers) or textual
+View results in timeline button
+Footer
3. Board Page -
+Each member will have their own Board Page
+Member info (name, contact details, possible picture/avatar)
+Showing Events they created with flyers (possible comments for events)
+Also Showing Event Keywords they are following ie: keyword yankees will show upcoming yankee events
+Footer
*Also note that the login/signup should be throughout each page
Please avoid heavy illustrations but concentrate on the little details to create a very user friendly layout. We do want it to look modern and clean however. Please avoid a column looking layout for the search results page.
To just bring out your creative side to build something intuitive yet with a visually pleasing UI.
