Help BaggageFreight with a new website design

We are an online freight comparison website, with a calculator that offers shipping rates from leading global courier companies. Our calculator can be integrated into online eCommerce stores and eBay stores. Our main target audiences are Online Businesses, eBay sellers and anyone who wishes to ship freight domestically and internationally on either a once off or regular basis.

The overall style of the website should have a focus on being simple, following on from the wireframe that has been provided.  iFrame Calculator Whilst the calculator is an iFrame and the structure of the calculator is fairly well set - we are happy to have for a colour change from what is on our website if necessary, however the calculator really needs to stand out on the page. Header Currently the header of the website is 3 shades of grey, and ideally it will a grey colour, but just with one consistent colour.  Footer Like the header, we would like to have the footer one consistent colour. We have defined a primary and secondary font. The primary font should be Folio EF Bold Condensed and the secondary font Arial.  

We're looking to refresh our homepage as it is most used page and the place where we drive conversions. The homepage is currently not at the level of quality we would like it at even the most basic level such as consistency in font use and consistency in colours across the website. We have defined a primary and secondary font. The primary font (headers) should be Folio EF Bold Condensed and the secondary font (body text) Arial. We effectively want to create a simplified, clean, and refreshed page, that highlights our credibility and makes it simple for visitors to find and access information and ultimately simplify the conversion process. We would like the background of the page to remain white, with the exception of the header, footer and maybe the shipping logo carousel (mentioned below) We have attached a wireframe document that will outline the basic structure we would like for the page. Header The header of the website is an area we need to fix up. Currently it looks messy, with different widgets and buttons in random spots. We wish to make it all one colour rather than the 3 diiferent shades of grey as current. Whilst we will keep a similar structure, we wish to update the links, making the link text slightly bigger and replacing the current link titles with the header links in the attached wireframe. We also want to update the icons, add in some social media icons and create a small widget allowing customers to track their shipments in the header. First icon in wireframe (header): Live Chat Second icon in wireframe (header): Email Third icon in wireframe (header): Facebook Fourth icon in wireframe (header): Twitter Key Function Areas Nivo Slider Currently we don't highlight a key area of our business - the ability to integrate our calculator into their eCommerce store or eBay store. Incorporating a Nivo slider will help us to better present our key value propositions have it front and centre so that it is the focal point for any visitor to the site. BaggageFreight Freight Calculator We also wish to have our freight comparison calculator sitting next to the Nivo Slider. This is actually an iFrame, which will be coded at the developer end. The wireframe incorporates an updated version of the calculator which is designed to fit in next to the Nivo Slider. Shipping Partner Carousel It is also extremely important we display our shipping partners as it promotes our credibility. We would love to have a carousel slider that continuously rotates our shipping partners logos across the page. Ideally this would be a different background colour from the main part of the page. YouTube Video We also want a section to where we can embed a large YouTube video. Next to the video we require a space for text where we can highlight the benefits of using BaggageFreight. We would also like to have social media sharing buttons under the text. Footer Currently, the footer on our website is basically so far down as there is so much text to scroll through to get to the bottom of the page. We want to make the footer really clean and simple. We wish to incorporate our payment methods (Visa, MasterCard and Amex) in this footer. We also have a couple of links in the footer that we need to replace from the current website, and have been updated and are in the wireframe. We also want to drive people to our social media pages, and have buttons in the footer to highlight our social presence.

We want to avoid the website being too busy.
