We want it to be like http://www.dodge.com/en/ with the big photographic backgrounds (we hired a photographer to shoot the necessary high quality images). Let the images do the talking and create a matching navigation and find a way to display the logo in a way it feels right.
The design has that classy-professional feeling. Visitors will know within 1 second after visiting the website that this company is all about professional- and quality service for a high-quality product such as BMW-Alpina.
The color palette for the overall website needs to be similar to http://www.alpina-automobiles.com. The blue and green tones, etc. Our design has to "fit" the BMW-Alpina family of websites, but still has it's own identity (which is more like the Dodge.com frontpage).
Again, look at http://www.alpina-automobiles.com. The fonts that cover the images (headlines) are classic-style fonts such as Times New Roman to give it that classy feeling. The body text should be Helvetica. Menu items in caps.
Provided as attachment. We don't have a high quality vector based of transparent version. But its not a complicated logo.
The subpage will need to work with the frontpage, but offer flexibility. We will be using Wordpress, so design the subpage to work with Wordpress widgets/sidebars and content.
Subpage needs to be designed for easy-of-use, so that we can use it for multiple types of articles (blog, news, product details).
