Our website is a destination for new mobile app game players, press, and potential investors. Hullabu makes mobile (tablet and phone) that are story-based and designed for adults. Many of them are "Hidden Object" games and a few have been developed using licenses such as James Patterson and Agatha Chrisite. Audience Profiles: Game players - The audience is described as "casual gamers" - they're very comfortable in the iOS/iTunes environment. The demographic is predominantly over the age of 35 and over 80% female. It's notable that this audience notoriously does not want to be "pandered" to and they don't think of themselves as gamers. They may be coming to us either to learn about our games, our offers (sales), or they might need customer support. Press - Those that might want to see stories about our content, sales, future plans, etc. They need a way to contact us. Investors - They want to know about our team, our stats, our vision, our goal, and an easy way to contact us. From a "back end" perspective, I REALLY like how easy it is for me to update the site myself using wordpress. I like to be able to add new stories on the fly, add content, add media, add game links, press releases, etc.
Color theme: Our logo is what we're centered around. You can find it on our website and around each of our apps. It's orange and white. The "h" in the center is a person leaning forward, sitting on their butt, with their arms rested on their legs, feet on the ground, with an ipad in their hands. The H (the player) is inside of a star; the customer is our star, our center. We make games designed to delight them and we want everything about us to reflect that. Note on the current website that we have selected a mild blue/green to contrast the logo color. I'm ok with keeping that or a similar color. Features: I like the ability to feature a main game, with obvious/easy access to other games. Secondary Features (just below a feature): Likely this will be a post of some sort by me. Be it a blog post, or a press release, or a notice about a new offer or a new game. Social: We are on Facebook (with followers), Twitter (need to grow this), and LinkedIn (not important). Platforms: Our site needs to support users coming from either a PC/Mac, Tablet, or smartphone and adjust accordingly.
Home/Landing Page Game Pages About Us Support Between what I've mentioned above and what you can see at www.hullabu.com, you get the idea for each of the above pages. Also, I'm looking for creativity in both simplicity and functionality. If anything isn't clear I'm willing to discuss further.
What to avoid
Small, fancy, or hard to read fonts; our users are older. Really overwhelming colors.
If you open iTunes or AppStore and search for "hullabu" you'll find a ton of screenshots, logos, etc. All can also be found on www.hullabu.com. There are also videos and such which can/should be utilized on the site as well as youtube.
