The site began in 1996 as one of the first websites with information for beef cattle ranchers. Our target audience consists of cattle ranchers, many of whom are between 40-60 years of age. Our slogan is The Internet Guide to the Cattle Industry and consists of a directory of cattle ranchers and equipment companies, photo gallery, classified ads, discussion forums and information articles. We also held a contest for a masthead that will be used in some printed materials. You have the option to include it, but we are also interested in seeing other ideas. The feel of the site should be high-end and rich, and represent the lifestyle of cattle ranching. One of the key elements of our site is navigation. Your design must allow for an 800 pixels wide horizontal navigation dropdown menu. The areas of navigation are: Home, The Cattle Pages, Features, Community, Interactive, Directory, Products, Resources, Search.
